Just because

I am grateful. Grateful that you have opened up to me, talking to me about yourself and your feelings, even when it is hard, even when you know it's not what I want to hear.

I am grateful to observe your evolution, as you become a king, and what a strong, smart, and visionary king you are.

Even through all we have been through, I trust you. I trust you to lead our family. I trust your intelligence, I trust your heart, I trust your love for me and the kids.

I am grateful that our relationship was put through the test and that we are now getting a glimpse of the other side.

Even when I am sad I still feel grateful because I know that we are learning new ways of supporting and loving each other. And once this period of transition is over I know we will be happier than ever.

I love you because you turn me on on so many levels - physically, intellectually, emotionally.

I love you because you have supported me through some very difficult emotions, even the ones that are hard for you to sit with. I've appreciated having you by my side as I've gone through all of these realizations and emotions.
